Vermont Translines, through the Vermont Agency of Transportation, provides transportation originating in Burlington, VT, that travels the Route 7 corridor to the Albany, NY, bus terminal, Amtrak station and Albany airport, with stops along the way in Middlebury, Brandon, Rutland, Manchester and Bennington.

Premier Coach, a family-owned Vermont motor coach company, introduced Vermont Translines in an effort to help Vermonters make necessary connections throughout Vermont, and to transport them to destinations beyond the state.

Bicycles are allowed beneath the bus in the luggage bays after all luggage has been loaded, if space permits. Bicycles in boxes are preferred and will be treated as regular luggage. If you are connecting to another bus service, please be aware that each carrier has its own rules regarding bicycle transport, so check ahead with the connecting bus services to avoid inconveniences.
Although a reservation is not required, it is strongly recommended to guarantee a seat on a bus. A seat is not guaranteed unless you have an advance ticket.

PRESENT YOUR PAPERLESS E-TICKET TO THE DRIVER AS IT IS YOUR ONLY WAY TO GET ONTO THE BUS WITHOUT PAYING DRIVER DIRECTLY. If you have not made a reservation and there is room on a bus, you may purchase a ticket from the driver at the pickup site with exact change.
